Somedays I just don’t feel like eating my protein… While on the hunt for clever and new recipes to hopefully motivate myself to eat more protein, I found this website. Protein Pow! Talk about new and clever recipes! This morning I made Banana Protein Fluff using Solgar’s Whey To Go Protein Powder. It tasted pretty good, but it wasn’t as fluffy as I would have liked. I think I needed a bigger banana and a tad more almond milk… Maybe even try coconut milk next time. I also added cocoa powder.. after the blender, which was a bad idea 😛 I ended up having an odd texture of tiny balls of powder within my protein fluff. Next time, I’ll definitely add the cocoa powder while the mixtures still in the blender 🙂 

Anyone else have creative and fun ways they get their protein in?


Cocobanana Smoothie

1 Banana (Frozen)
2/3 c Milk (Almond or Coconut Milk)
1 TBS Cocoa Powder
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Stevia as desired


Chocolate Chia Banana Overnight Oatmeal

1/3 c Oatmeal (maple flavored is what I love to use!)
3/4 c Almond Milk (I used 3/4 instead of 2/3 to make it creamier!)
1 TBS Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 TBS Stevia (or as much as desired)
1 TBS Chia Seeds
Dash of Vanilla Extract
Banana ( 1/2 mashed and mixed with above ingredients, the other half chopped and placed on top of mixture)

– Mix above ingredients together (exept last half of banana which will be chopped and placed on top). Leave mixture in the fridge overnight or for an extended amount of time (it takes chia seeds at least 10 minutes to soak). In the morning or whenever you wish to eat, place chopped banana on top! Enjoy!
